Abhijeet Das is a Partner and heads the Odisha office of LexCounsel, Law Offices, in Bhubaneswar. He has nearly two decades of experience advising domestic and multinational clients. His approach is built around the client’s overall business needs rather than individual practice areas.

His corporate practice covers cross-border mergers and acquisitions (inbound and outbound) and restructuring. He manages the full transaction lifecycle, from structuring and due diligence to drafting transaction documents and negotiating on the client’s behalf. He also advises on statutory registrations, foreign investment and exchange control, investment structuring, and corporate governance.

In life sciences and healthcare, Abhijeet advises on clinical research, the import of drugs and medical devices, and operational and compliance issues faced by hospitals and healthcare companies.

His real estate practice covers transaction documentation, title review, and compliance under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016. It includes representing homebuyers and developers before the Odisha Real Estate Regulatory Authority and its Appellate Tribunal.

His litigation practice covers civil and commercial disputes, company law matters, writ petitions, and public interest litigation. He appears before the Orissa High Court at Cuttack, the National Company Law Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, and district courts across Odisha, and handles litigation strategy, settlement negotiations, and case management.
