Abhijeet is a Partner and heads the Odisha office of LexCounsel, Law Offices. He has over a decade’s worth of experience and his client-oriented approach targeting wholistic business solutions, as opposed to a ‘practice area’ oriented approach, is particularly appreciated by his clientele.
Abhijeet has regularly represented clients in cross-border mergers and acquisitions (both inbound and outbound) and restructuring processes. He has been in forefront of these matters managing their whole lifecycle comprising of structuring of the transactions, diligences, drafting of complex transactional documents as well as negotiating all aspects on the client’s behalf.
Abhijeet’s corporate practice has seen him advising a broad spectrum of domestic and multinational clients on issues pertaining to statutory registrations, exchange control issues, investment structuring and corporate governance. Abhijeet has also dealt with law and regulations in life sciences and healthcare sphere, including on aspects concerning clinical research, import of drugs and medical devices as well as operational issues faced by hospitals.
Abhijeet also advises clients on aspects of dispute resolution, including formulation of litigation strategies, leading settlement negotiations, litigation management and representation of the clients before appropriate forums.
Abhijeet has been regularly conducting workshops on issues relating to cross border transactions, clinical research, medical devices and exchange control laws. Further, he frequently authors legal content on significant developments and contentious issues.
